Our model transforms your space into a curated, rotating gallery, blending beauty with opportunity. Here's how you pull off the perfect heist:

    Join in five minutes

    Tell us about yourself, paste your existing website or Instagram, and we'll pull in your work so you can review and edit. No re-uploading every piece.

  2. 02

    Set your quarterly windows

    Pick which quarters you're available — like a calendar in a vacation rental. Block off the ones you're not. Businesses request the windows that fit them.

  3. 03

    Approve the booking

    A local business sees your work, requests a quarter, and you accept. We coordinate the install and the QR codes on each frame.

  4. 04

    Get paid directly

    When someone scans a QR code and buys the piece, the buyer's money goes straight to you through Stripe. You keep 70% — a third more than a traditional gallery's 50% split. The remaining 30% funds the host's Patron Credit (20%) and Gallery Thief's operations (10%).

The QR code

Every piece has its own scannable label.

Each artwork gets a small printed label with a QR code at the center. Scanning it opens the artist's page for that specific piece — title, price, edition, and a way to buy on the spot or message the artist directly.

The codes are signed and tracked. We can see what gets the most scans, which businesses drive the most sales, and which pieces are finding their audience. The artist sees those numbers too.

Pricing

A commission that pays the room, not us.

Artists pay nothing to list. Businesses pay a flat quarterly hosting fee. When a piece sells, the 30% commission splits two-thirds back to the host (Patron Credit toward future quarters) and one-third to Gallery Thief. The artist keeps 70% — a third more than a traditional gallery's 50% split.

When a piece sells
70 / 20 / 10

70% to the artist, 20% back to the host as Patron Credit, 10% to Gallery Thief. Industry standard is 50% to the gallery; we keep ten and give twenty to the room that hung the work.
